In the context of my first year of the Musicology Master's program at Paris 8, the idea of creating purely synthesized gestures in electronic music was one of my main areas of research. In the absence of visual representation of gesture, and with sounds not linked to a physical reality, what do listeners perceive as gestural? This mixed work utilized, among other techniques, concatenative synthesis to create multiple layers of the same element from a purely synthesized perspective.
