PROGRAM NOTE

This composition is inspired by several images that form an electrically natured sound universe. Each of these images was born from the interaction of various musical objects. From the evolution of a sound over time produced by acoustic feedback (known as the Larsen Effect) to the energetic discharge found when two charged objects come into contact, this composition aims to show how the musical representation of all these different elements organizes and evolves over time to create this "catalog" of sounds. In this, I have tried to create images where even the constituent elements and the constituted object are strongly linked to this concept of electricity, either because they are sounds that evoke this idea or because their origin has a direct relation to it. All this rhetoric is just words if it is not connected to the music itself. That is why playing techniques that deviate from the original sound of the instrument, crushed sounds, differentials, and sounds produced with ebows are used throughout the piece to evoke this described universe.
